About this calculator
Times come from NOAA's solar equations, computed entirely in your browser; your coordinates never leave your device. Accuracy is typically 1 to 2 minutes, lower above 72 degrees latitude, assuming standard refraction and a sea-level horizon. Twilight rows mark the sun 6, 12, and 18 degrees below the horizon; inside the polar circles the tool reports continuous daylight or night instead of inventing times. Values are shown in your device's time zone or UTC, and are for planning and education, not navigation.
