This policy describes what information may be processed when you visit Orbune or contact us.
1. Privacy at a glance
Orbune does not require an account. Every tool runs locally in your browser: the dates, times, and locations you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to Orbune. Orbune uses privacy-light analytics to count page views, described below.

If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message, such as your email address, name, and the details you choose to provide.
Basic technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, referral information, and request time. This information is used to deliver the site, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
Analytics information
Orbune uses Matomo analytics delivered from Pase Analytics to measure page views and link activity. Analytics requests may process information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested page, referrer, visit identifiers, and timestamps.
Values entered into tools
Tool calculations are designed to run entirely in your browser. Orbune does not intentionally collect the values you enter into a tool unless a tool clearly states otherwise.
3. Cookies and local storage
Orbune does not use advertising cookies. The Matomo tracking code may set first-party analytics cookies, including visit and session identifiers, on the Orbune domain. Infrastructure providers, including security and content-delivery services, may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to protect and deliver the site. The private administration area used by Orbune staff sets session cookies that are not used on public pages.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- operate, secure, and improve the site;
- respond to questions, feedback, or reports;
- investigate errors, abuse, or security incidents; and
- meet legal obligations.
5. When information may be shared
Information may be processed by service providers that help host, deliver, secure, and measure use of the site. Analytics requests are sent to pase-analytics.com for Matomo processing. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Orbune does not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain relevant records. Technical logs are retained according to operational needs and the settings or policies of the relevant service providers.
7. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the site. No internet service can guarantee complete security, so please avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary email.
8. Your choices and rights
You can block or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings or a content blocker. Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information, including access, correction, deletion, or objection. Use the contact details below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Children's privacy
Orbune is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so it can be removed.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
